Contact us via hello@weflockcic.org.uk to register your interest. We will then confirm next steps i.e. how to enter into the Volunteer Agreement and get added to the “GSS: Helping Hands” WhatsApp Group

Join a training session to learn more about the volunteer roles in more detail

Keep an eye out for opportunities posted in the “GSS: Helping Hands” WhatsApp Group. In addition to ad hoc projects, the events-based opportunities largely involve:
Setting up and resetting spaces
Supporting a great user experience for hosts/hirers and their guests

FoodHub @ No.1 Church Lane | 24th December - 2nd January 2024 / 12:00-14:00
We were looking for volunteers to help with the FoodHub at No.1 Church Lane:
Shop workers - serve visitors FREE hot food, pantry items, hot drinks and snacks.
Drivers - to help to collect food from local businesses and support groups.
Donations - of the following items: fridges (X3), microwaves (X2), tinned food, toilet paper, tooth paste, tea, sugar, squash.

Focus on Leytonstone (Part 1) | January and February 2023
A focus group and survey for residents of Davies Lane and surrounding roads to share ideas and decide on which free event/activity they would like to be hosted for them at Good Shepherd Studios.
Painting Sessions | November and December 2022

We work closely with the lovely people at Our Pastures (formerly known as Save Our Pastures) and they need some help with garden clearance and/or bulb planting. Everyone is welcome irrespective of experience:

During the first of many volunteering opportunities at Good Shepherd Studios we saw green-fingered locals clear an impressive amount of overgrown plants making the site more accessible for the trades people to work their magic.
